I was putting my scope on this evening and wanted to know how tight should I tighten the rings down? I don't want to bend the scope or mar it in anyway that would damage it and its use. I have a broad history of over tightening things to the point that i have ripped studs off when changing or rotating tires, I constantly turn the heads off screws and so on. What is a good rule of thumb maybe that could guide me in doing this correctly?? Thanks for the help.
