I've hunted before there were compounds allowed in the field and I've actually taken a few deer with wheels but I've taken more than 50 big game animals with longbows and recurves and it really never enters my mind about there being a difference in the equipment when it comes to shooting game. When an animal crosses that "mental line" I know I'm going to kill it and the equipment doesn't really factor in.
