Shaft material is as available as fabricated arrows. On the average, I save in the range of $17.00 to $20.00 on a dozen of XX78 Super Slams.

However, the saving is not the primary reason I build my own arrows. Having ready stock, quality control, being able to readily test different setups, and being able to setup the arrow precisely to my personal specs are the chief reasons I build my own arrows.
