Zak, I personally love hunting hogs with my bow. Like someone said, quartering away is your best shot by far. The sows it really does not matter as long as it broadside. The boars have a thick bone plate to protect them when they fight. It covers most of the front shoulder. A smaller fixed blade broadhead is what I choose. Remember that pistol when your tracking. If you injure one and it gets to squealing, others will come to protect it. Good Luck.
