My best advice is to find a bow that is the right draw and poundage for you at a good proshop and shot it if possible and if he won't let you shot it find a differant proshop that will let you shot the bow before you buy it tell him the price range you are looking for but a little higher than you plan to spend say 400 in your case than ask him if he has a carry over from last year that is simaler to it and who knows he might have one and you can usually get a carry over cheaper than a new 2004 bow good luck
