Default RE: Suggestions on Muzzleloader

Well I was a sidelock shooter for 25 years. I finally broke down and got a T/C Black Diamond XR .50 caliber last week. I bought the T/C because I have had a T/C Renegade for over 20 years and it has never caused me any grief. I do not feel that the other rifles you mentioned would cause you any problems.

I can not tell you how impressed I am with the Black Diamond. I have shot a number of different sabots out of it already getting it sighted in and finding its sweet load. I also shot 370 grain T/C maxi ball conicals with suprising accuracy yesterday. The gun is well balanced, and even with loads in the 120 grain range is not uncomfortable to shoot.

Most of the rifles produced will give good service and accuracy. I even went and bought a Staghorn because I have enjoyed shooting the Black Diamond so much, I wanted another one. It should be here any day, so we have more to play with.
