The article sounds great, but. The cutover property is not mine. Don't think the owners would be happy with anyone messing around with their pine plantings. Two of the plantings have absentee owners that don't live in the area.

I'm pretty sure that our local forest service does not have that equipment. They mostly work with small dozers.

I may have to buy stock in Sthil. Have a 24" Sthil and a big weedeater capable of handling a blade. It may take most of next summer, but there will be trails, if my health holds. Also have one plot that can't handle the traffic, so will try and enlarge it with my backhoe as there is lots of brush around it. It will be a busy summer.
