Jerry the gun seem coated with a stain finish,the more I clean it the more brown stuff just kept comming.The gun is clean now and can't waite to shoot it.I am going to try the R.E.AL. conical 320 grains @ yes it the same model(HUNTER BARREL)
Jerry how did you like the sight picture using the stock sights.I may have to change them,these eyes are not what they use to be.I also had to grind the nipple down a little ,it seem the nipple taper was to long and the no#11 caps would fall off.I just ordered a gun sock for the gun if you are interested let me know I have one for my flinter t/c hawken helps getting scratch.
