I thought the same two weeks ago. I have since shot two deer and am beginning to question the dead center. I shot a buck at about 15yds and a doe at 20yds. with a Knight disc .50 with 100 grains of triple seven and a 250 dead center. Neither bullets went through the deer and there was almost no blood.

I am now testing the Knight red hots.
