Default RE: Car Sick

You are trying to defy nature. An English Pointer needs to be in the back of a truck in a dogbox or Vari-Kennel. It's a pointer thing. Let your poodle ride in the front in your lap.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

In all seriousness the dog is probably getting anxious about the hunt and how long it is taking to get there. Dogs can exhibit anxious behavior like humans. The anticipation of having to wait knowing that &quot;I'm in the car I know I'm going after some birds&quot; and it taking so long could be the cause. If it doesn't happen on the way home when the trip is as long( for me the trip home is longer because I drive a little slower when I have that after hunt glow going) it would indicate that it's not the length of the trip that's the problem.

Ask your vet next time your in for a visit.
