Default RE: Elk guides in New Mexico?

Surestrike:
I drew a 16A rifle bull tag 1st time(wow!) Oct 13 last year. Used All American as an outfitter(terriffic!) and guide. We hunted pretty much about half the unit and found heards each morning & evening. Opening morning saw herd of 20 cows,3 rag horns, & a 360 class herd bull all together, that afternoon saw 30 cows, 6 rag horns, and a 380 class bull, but had a bad shot so we let him go( bad mistake!). on the 4th afternoon found that same herd coming off a mesa down to the bottom for the nite & soon as the bulls started over, a USO plane came treetop high over us , circled 3 times and ran the herd off (pretty pissed off!!) Got the plane # and gps location(was a USO plane) but i guess it don't matter in NM. Had a great hunt and will try to draw again this year. Did find a set of 360 sheds while treking through the trees, so not all wasted. Most of the area we covered was close to Reserve on the north end of 16A if your familar with that unit. I'll let you know if any of us draw or not. Have you hunted 16A before?
Later Bryan
