RE: high end or low end bow
Some years ago there was a staff shooter for one of the big manufacturers that was winning everything on the circuit with one of their low end bows. The honcho's reamed him out good and made him start shooting one of their high end bows, where they they had more profit margin.
Things haven't changed. The low end bows will shoot for someone who knows how to shoot. Someone that doesn't know how to shoot, they can spend all the money they want to on equipment and they still won't know how to shoot.
Confidence comes from practice and knowing your equipment. It doesn't come out of your wallet.
