Default RE: Deer hunting Bullets

I like the Barnes expander. It shoots very accurately out of my gun and it seems to massacre the deer that i shoot. They usually just drop right in thear tracks when I shoot them. However, i shoot a .50 caliber instead of a .45. I don't know how they will work out of a .45. I do know that if they work half as good as the ones that i shoot do, They are impressive bullets. They are the only bullet that I would take into the woods. I use the 250grain bullet. I tried the 300grain and did not like it as much. There is a line of Barnes expanders for the .45 mz also. Hope this helps.
