I got a Double Bull BS-5 this fall. I practiced alot shooting through it. My max shot distance is 30 yards if everything is perfect. I practiced to 30 and had NO problems at all with Thunderhead 100 (fixed). I also shot my Wasp Jackhammer 100's (1 3/4" diameter cut mechanical)out to 25 yards and it worked great also. If you shoot mecanicals with the little arms for fast opening I promise you will have problems! The Wasp heads don't have that.
