Late season bow tips??
Allright what's the deal with late season bow? Any of you guys have a different or specific strategy for late bow. I'm in NY and wondering what my best chances may be to find deer during late bow after the woods have been shot up for a few weeks. The woods have actually calmed down the last 10 -12 days or so, as far as hunters and shots heard.
Do you fall back to early season strategies?
Is it worthwhile hunting open food plots this time of year?
Do you stick to your late gun season strategies, hunt the core areas and go deep and thick?
Will my only chance be the mysterious 2nd rut and setting back up on rub and scrape lines?
Should I go for the underground tunnels?
Any calls or scents be effective?
Is it an exercise of futility?
thanks for any input. 5 days to find a buck.
