RE: Scopes for Turkey Hunting
As I stated in an earlier post, I use the Leupold Vari-X II 1x4 shotgun scope with the heavy duplex. The variable power range is handy if you need to check out a turkey that is out there a good distance, then crank it back down to 1x for the shot when you work him in. The matte black finish never goes out of style like camo finishes. The heavy duplex reticle works wonderfully in low light conditions. Leupold scopes are tough as nails and will hold their zero. Plus, they come with a warranty that is second to none. I believe the "perfect turkey scope" has already been invented and been around for quite a few years!
