There is a big bodied buck that I have seen on my property for at least three years now. He was a seven point two years ago but is only a six point this year. When the deer is facing you his rack looks enormous but if you see him from the side he looks like a big fork horn. My guess is that he is old enough now to be on the downhill swing. In other words, there's not much point in passing him up this year. I didn't really try to do that the last two years either but I just so happened to take a different buck each of those years before I ever saw this one. The only times I have seen him in daylight and other than on a trail camera has been during the peak of the rut. Two years ago he was in my driveway one morning trying to corral a hot doe. Last year I saw him one morning on the sidehill below the house chasing several does. The photos in my driveway are from 2023 and the first night video is from my orchard last year (2024) and the last two night videos are from a few nights ago, once in the orchard and once along a path near the house.
