Sorry for your loss Bronco. There is something about a special pet that leaves a huge hole in ones heart. When we had to put my beloved Fannymae down at 13 I said no more I can't take losing another dog. A short time later after going dogless for a few months I agreed to take care of a dog my vet tech daughter was fostering. She had to go to Seatle on a seminar trip and I was asked to take care of just 1 dog. I was sitting at my breakfast bar having an evening drink when the dog came running in. She was a 4 month old brindle and I knew right then and there she would never be leaving. We have been best buddies now for 6 years and that hole that was left by Fannymae has been filled to overflow.
