I dearly love Hoyt bows, but out of the dozen or two I have owned and hundreds I sold I could never obtain a listed AMO, or IBO speed..at least at AMO draw lengths. My Defiant is the only real high performance Hoyt I have owned, and that's because I "hotrodded" it w/ a cam they did not offer anymore.
My HypertTec was a great shooter, but hardly the speed bow it was cracked up to be.
I do not remember if the 2002 ctalog is the same but many years Hoyt will have one listed speed and brace height for each model. This is always the fastest version w/ the lowest brace. For this year that would be a C2 model.
