I would have thought it would be a little faster also, but you'll never get IBO speeds. I have a Cybertec set at 72 lbs. with a 28.5 in. draw. I have 2 string leeches, a Shurz-a-peep, and a brass nock on my string . I shoot a 403 gr. arrow at 282 fps.
