Anything on the string slows it down. Brass nock sets are relatively heavy. To get the IBO specs, they have NOTHING on the string- maybe a tied in nock point. Maybe even a shorter version of the center serving. Maybe their 30" draw was cheating just a hair on the long side to get their stated speed number.

Look at your scale as well- tried another one to verify poundage? Most of the spring scales around vary by a pound or two.

Obviously your 29" draw will reduce the speed numbers for the 1" less of powerstroke.
Lots of variables that go into the mix for getting the printed speed. Most companies are getting better for printing ACTUAL speed numbers.
