now that's gotta be overkill! Especially if a 180 out of a .350L counts as overkill! Lol.
I only shot a few deer with the .45-70, and one elk.
One of the deer made it about 15 yards..... Or maybe it got knocked back by the impact.....
the elk reared up on its hind legs and flipped clean over backwards. Hitting the ground dead. It was an impressive sight.
I love the .45-70.
