If the flesh is already gone and the skill is dry you do not want to boil it. You need to bleach it white. Many people de not recommend it but I pain the skulls with Clorox and sit them in the sun. Some folks use peroxide. Or you can asked a taxidermist what they use to bleach a skull and see if you can by some.
