I use a dirthole set for most of my fox/coyote sets. Dig a small hole 3-4" in dia, 7-8" deep, at a 45 deg angle. Put bait/lure in bottem of hole, and bed trap 6-8" back from mouth of hole. I prefer a #1 3/4 or #2 coilspring. Check your state reg's befor using sight expossed bait, it is a no no here in WI. Fur-fish-game is a good mag to read.
