No I didn't notice. That small stuff under names is beyond my eye's ability. While you say the .223 is better than the .22-250, I am trying to figure out why? Considering you can load up both cartridges with the same bullet and get 10-15 percent more velocity and around 15-20 percent more foot-pounds of energy. Now where the .223 has a small advantage, which is fairly easy to overcome, is that they are generally a 1:9 twist where the .22-250 is generally 1:10 so most factory .22-250 barrels limit out at around 55grain bullet weight. You get a 1:9 or even a 1:8 twist .22-250 barrel made an go load up some 62gr TTSX in it and do a side by side comparison to the .223 and watch the .223 get smoked. I have several .22-250's including 2 customs of my own and 2 from my dad's collection. I'll put them up against any .223 on the planet.
