Last wednesday, the day before thanksgiving, I shot a young buck with the 460 gr. .50 cal. No Excuses bullet out of my T/C Hawken. I use 85 gr. of FFG blackpowder, and I bet two shoulders of a moose couldn't stop this load. I don't know if the 495 gr. will stabilize out of my 1-48 twist, but the .50 460 is extremely accurate.

These are high quality bullets and I would recommend them to anybody. I have never had any problem with leading in my gun, and I have been through 3 of the 50 count boxes. Your faster rate of twist may tend to lead a bit more, but it wouldn't stop me from using them.
