I am generally careful when stringing. It is usually a matter of correct tecnique to get the thing strung anyway.
I will pick up a stringer anyway. It would insure any default on my part.
They seem to be resonably priced.

I may leave it strung for the days I am shooting, but if I am not going to shoot it for 2-5 days. I think I will take the string off.
