If the Rifle/Load is Accurate, and in the right hands, It is AMAZING what a guy can do with Open/Peep sights! Especially on Official Size Open Sight Targets, Target size changes at each Distance. The Black Aiming Bull for the 800-1,000 Yard Target is 44 inches and comes in 2 pieces (i have them). My eye sight is my Problem. I cut my Right eye REALLY bad Many years ago in a Logging Accident, My eyeball actually Deflated, The Cornea of my Right eye had to be Stitched. My eyesight has never been the Same since, and obviously as i age it continually gets worse and worse. This is why i bought the inline Muzzleloader, and Nice Scope to sit on it. It is inevitable that I’m gonna come to an End with being able to See These Long Range Targets with my Naked Eye, Yesterday’s session was EXTREMELY difficult on me.

As for challenge, Doing this with my new Knight Mountaineer and Scope was EASY, and that was with my little Gong. The Sidelock on the other Hand with Open/Peep Sights is FAR FAR and AWAY more Challenging, it can’t Closely be compared!! I feel like ANY decent Shooter can do this with a Properly Setup inline, BUT Take those SAME Guy’s that are REALLY good with the Scoped inlines and put them Behind a Sidelock with Open/Peep sights at Long Range and See how they do? I Would wager a Bet that the VAST Majority of them Fella’s would be HUMBLED, BIG TIME from Guy’s like Dave Gullo, and Lee Shaver’s!! It is 2 VERY Different Worlds (Open Sight vs Scoped) I consider guy’s like Shaver’s and Gullo the “ELITE”, And when i think “Pros” They are who come to my mind.

Here is Dave Gullo (Buffalo Arms Owner) With Peep Sights, Except his Target is over 1,100 Yards here!! I see Dave on a Fairly Regular Basis, i am in Buffalo Arms WAY more than I should be Dave has been a BIG Help to me, REALLY Good Guy!!
