Actually ALF I had a difficult time deciding between the two rounds. I chose the 338 because of bullet selection and slightly better BC. I am sort of tired of losing so much meat, even with the 3006 it is hard not to destroy alot. Bullets of this caliber are of sturdier construction so I hope to help some of the problem. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with say the Nosler 200 gr. Bal. Tip. or even the 180 for that matter.
