Congrats Taz. I got my first buck a couple of years ago (10 pointer) with buckshot. He was only about 15 yds away, and started jumping around when I hit him. I chambered a slug and put him down. I normally use a 30/30, but just happened to grab the shotgun after lunch. Georgia deer are small, so I was amazed that it took several shots.
