I want to keep the grass down to allow any seed already produced to go ahead and sprout and to keep any more of the grass from producing any more seed.

As for a mix, I'm thinking of something like a 70-20-10 mix of wheat, oats, and peas, along with some ladino clover seeded over the top.

What seeding rates do you recommend? The two plots are about 2.5 acres total.
