It all depends on how much you can spend. I shoot a mossburg pump 500 and love it. Semi- autos are nice, but they are expensive. The mossburg can be bought for around $300. Savage has a bolt action slug gun for about the same money. As far as scopes go, the 4 power fixed models work fine. Tony
