Welcome to the sport! If you are only a week or two away from your ml season, I hope you are on a work vacation because this is much different than buying factory ammo and loading the gun & shooting it.
If no vacation, buy Pyrodex pellets (50s & 30s) -- then buy two different styles/bullet grains of sabot/bullets offered by Knight. Start off with a 50 & 30.... then (3) 30s.... then (2) 50s.... etc. Keep going up in 10 grain increments until good accuracy is achieved. You should not have to exceed 120 grains to group well.
I would normally recommend Triple Se7en loose or pellet powder, but 30 grain 777 pellets are still not available.
