Hi all
So, found out I'm going up to see friends in Vermont the last week of May.

We'll be staying in Richmond @ friend's house, they own frontage on the winooski

Another friend is in the country near Montpellier

I don't plan on hunting BUT would love to take my son out just to watch birds.

ANY advice on where this would be advisable would be very welcomed.

The friends in montpellier say they have turkeys in the yard from time to time.

Anyhow, any and all advice welcomed.

I may try to pick up a license but not sure how that goes, and would settle for hanging out in a blind w/ the youngun happily.

Would also be keen on any insight into fishing up that way...have a lot of smallmout experience but none in New England...AND while our buddies up there are outdoorsy, they are not hunt/fish types...more into hike/horse/ski

Would oblige any kindness w/ intel on Turkeys or fishing in Central Florida
