Good job Ben! A nice story and more evidence of the amazing healing powers that deer have. There have been a couple other posts in the last month or so showing pictures similar to yours. It amazes me how they can heal up like that. I wonder how much down time the deer spends after something as traumatic as that? I would venture a guess that deer from a warm locale have a lot better chance to heal up than their northern counterparts do. Just my opinion. What do you think? Congratulations all the way around for you and your buddies.
