Ya know GM, I've been thinking (I know dangerous. Don't worry I have the smoke alarm on) I have an old Sav 10 in .308 that I probably haven't shot in 10 years. Just not that big on .308. I might just convert that puppy to a smokeless .45 1:18-1:20 twister and rather than a .209 plug, have one of those BP's that use a short case with a Mag primer. Now, with my brain already heated up, I can't think of any reason that rig wouldn't fire BH209 reliably. Can you? My big ole sausage fingers could handle using one of those case deals a heck of a lot easier than trying to finagle a primer into a BP in a bolt gun. That's the one and only reason I don't already have a bolt MLer.
