I am shooting a 250 grain bullet, wound channel was the same size as the bullet. At least I did recover the deer, and there was snow on the ground, but even the blood trail looked like someone had a spray bottle and was just spraying blood on a fine mist. I did shoot a coyote last year about 50 yards and the Barnes totally destroyed it.
