The main problem with the RUML is you are more or less locked into pellets. You can use loose Triple7 and Pyrodex but you wont see the same performance. Blackhorn209 is not approved by Remington yet and can damage the breach plug if you are not careful.
A Savage MLII with a 45cal barrel will destroy the RUML in every way possible in performance. Even the Johnston Ultimate is no longer competing well against the sabotless 45s at inline events and those rifles are using Blackhorn209 instead of smokeless.
I got $900 in my Savage with a Pacnor 45 super match grade 1-22 twist. Not including stock upgrade or scope but you sure cant put one together for that anymore....Unless you already have a MLII or Savage/Stevens short action rifle.
