Yes I meant BPRifles BPS.I had a Firestorm for years that I bought new and takin a few deer with it.But I decided to sell it for several reasons.The first it was to unbalanced bein muzzle heavy because of the plastic stock.The syn stock bein the other reason as the longer I owned it the more I hated the looks and feel of that black plastic stock.I only own BP,s in walnut now which is really the way all flinty,s shoud be.
I pretty much feel the same way about the Firestorm as you but I got it for song ($200) from a guy who decided he just didn't like hunting with a flintlock. I disassembled the lock, de-burred and polished all the bearing surfaces and the trigger pull is much smoother now than it was. I do like the removable breech plug, it's one of the reasons why I'll carry that rifle in nasty weather. I have taken a few deer with mine as well.
