When I switched to BH a couple years back I went through the same thing sorta. My TC barrel really likes it hot for some reason. Under 90gr BH the damn thing shoots a shotgun pattern but 90 and over she tightens up to under an inch with several bullet types and weights. When I was shooting T7 loose (never got into the pellet craze), when shooting 260+ saboted bullets, my average powder load was 110gr T7 and with 300+ grain Connies average load was 100gr T7. With BH I am getting the same speeds with 5-10 grains (by volume) less. Now that I am shooting lighter bullet weights (dropped down to 220gr bullets) I have found that barrel to be even sportier with a bit heavier charge of 115gr BH. And all without rattling my teeth!
