No intentions to do it. We were just joking around about it and wondered if it was even possible. My buddy has an old Savage 30-30 that he hunts with for sentimental value. He wants to upgrade in caliber but would hate to retire the old Savage. The joke was converting it to 300Mag. My dad' s friend converted a Remington 7600 pump from 243 to 30-06. I thought he should have just bought a 30-06 rifle.
