the distance ,well if it' s gun season i like to stay as far as possible from anyone not in my hunting party ,you basically know about the people you hunt with and how they are going to react, with bow and arrow it' s a little different , i would say just to play it safe give them a hundred yards , and if it' s public land ,it' s first come first serve so to speak.
