Crazy...and in what many would consider such a remote, down-to-earth part of the country where nothing even tangentially related to terrorism is supposed to go down. You have to admit, it's not a strategy that aims for body counts, but scaring ("terrorizing") ordinary people from enjoying the woods, a place where we feel we can get away from all the insanity reported on television.
In many ways, doing something like this denies people the ability to feel a sense of relief that "it's over." With shootings, people can mourn calmly---but with this, they don't know if they'll hear about something happening 5 years from now.
