If he hasn't already sent the rifle to Knight, I'd certainly recommend that he at least try it with the proper primers first. Not saying that it can't be something with the rifle, but I'd sure as heck hate to send it back to Knight after all this, only to find I was using the wrong primers for the propellant I was using.
