First off, when the dealer or delivery guy, whoever, dropped it off, your very FIRST thing you should do is check the vehicle over while they are there. If you discover a problem, which from your story you did, you do NOT accept delivery.

Next was your experience with the dealership mechanic. When you go to pick up a vehicle from ANY mechanic, you check and test the vehicle right there. NOT when you get it home! This is simple common sense. Granted you got yourself a lemon, but most of your difficulties are the result of your own actions. On your next venture, learn from your mistakes and check over and test any vehicle you are buying while in the presence of whomever you are purchasing it from. Same goes for a mechanic. I work on all my own cars, trucks, ATV.s and motorcycles so the only person I can blame is myself but when it comes to buying, I thoroughly go over every detail of the vehicle before I lay down any money.
First off, this was a gift and when someone gets you a 15k gift, you just don't kiss a gift horse in the mouth, and the dealer said that it not starting was probably it just vapor locking, that it cranked right up when he put it on his trailer. The next day we were able to get it to finally turn over, and it hasn't given us any more problems besides some wires coming loose as far as it starting. Second, we noticed that on the cv axles have always been at a pretty extreme angles. They left the gate open for us at the dealer and we couldn't just leave it their with no one their over the weekend. We then noticed on the next repair that there was some brake fade and when we asked the dealer he said that everything was correct, and we wasn't going to sit their and argue with the guy, we were just tired of dealing with it. The dealer refused to admit that their was anything wrong with it and when we called him back to inform him that it tore up again and was still not working, he acted as if their wasn't anyway it could already be tore up, as if we did something. Just trying to defend my self and explain my action.
