Yep, they do a nose dive. i have used the 280 grain .430 wide meplat hard cast bullets on hogs. It busts through the shoulders of a 300 pound hog and keeps on going. Went with the .452 330 grain wide meplat bullet in the .54 because i had no .430 sabots in that caliber.
