RE: recoil
Greets,
Well my initial reaction was the .270 hands down.. But then I thought about it, I havent fired my parents 30-30 in years, but it is a saddle rifle, real light weight, Sears model lever gun. The .270 I fired was a remington.. I think, its bolt action and its my buddies hunting rifle. it has a synthetic stock and has a recoil pad, ( albeit a small one )
That said after thinking really hard I think moms 30 30 but only by a pinch, maybe it was about the same.
Just my uneducated opinion!
