After the rut the bucks tend to go into a rest/eat phase to gain back some strength. They can and will breed from the time the velvet is gone until they drop their headgear. A lot of guys rattle post rut but I tend to stick to the doe stuff. Decoy is put away too. Tough question with lots of variables..temp, barometer, hunting pressure, population size, doe/buck ratio, etc.
To me the best thing about late bow is that you have the woods to yourself
