So I stopped by salvation army today and got myself Proline Tempest II model 10-280 for $20. I always wanted to try bowhunting and now I've got a bow. There are all these numbers on the bow. What do they mean?
Let off 35% 50%
Wt. Adj. Range 40-55
Approx. with Setting 50
Draw Lgth. Range 30-32
Let off 50
Amo String Lenght 43 (I get that! hehe)
Plus, is it an ok bow to start with? I want to practice shooting first and maybe at some point go for a turkey.
The amo string looks like it has two strings broken and like 10 of them still intact. Is this a problem can they all brake all at once? Or should I change the string?
What else do I need besides arrows (what length arrows) to start practice shooting? Thanks!
Does anyone know how old this bow might be?
