Region G is the best spot by far to kill a big buck on vast amounts of public land, but not so much a quantity of bucks. The latter is normally found on private ranches. To do it right in Region G you need to go on a mule or horse, so that might take it out of your thinking, although Yellowstone Horse Rental in Afton is close to the hunt area and prices are reasonable. My buddy and I both killed very nice bucks in the 170s and 180s last September on a high country horseback hunt in G.
